Comments: I have been involved in Martial Arts for over 25 years. Starting in 1972 with Shotokan Karate, then for several years in college, studying Tae-Kwon-Do, I began studying Chinese Kenpo in 1979, and received my Black Belt in 1986. I have been studying Mr. Parker's American Kenpo Karate for the past decade. I was fortunate enough to have tested with him for my 2nd Degree Black Belt in 1989. Tommy Burks, one of Mr. Parker's direct students, is my instructor. I tested for my 3rd Black in October of 1992. I am committed to teaching practical self-defense utilizing the principles and concepts Mr. Parker passed on to us. I am affiliated with the UKS, a great bunch of Martial Artist as well as being a great group of people.
